Equipbaie 2012 will feature a zone dedicated to innovation in the field of solar protection. The aim of this 65 m2 space is to expand the field of the possible – a task with which matériO, the library of emerging materials, is very familiar. Every day it casts its eye over the material and technology solutions of tomorrow and here it is acting as the show curator.
Guided through a life size set, visitors will be shown 10 innovative scenarios featuring selected products that are diverted from their first use, but which could provide a unusual sunscreen: aluminum foam, perforated concrete in three dimensions, coats of mail, filtration, innovative textiles, calorific pipes...
