Ludovic Loew,
Managing Director

Why are you exhibiting at équipbaie métalexpo 2010?

Our presence at métalexpo dates right back to 1996, the year the company was founded. We have consistently taken part in this show as a specialist in steel frames in order to meet our customers, to reveal our new products to them, as well as to make ourselves known as widely as possible, because raising one’s profile involves communication and this show is one of the means to achieve this. It is also one of those rare shows that is essentially aimed at steel professionals: the people who process it or use it to create technical, aesthetic or environmental solutions. One should not forget that steel is the world’s most recycled material and has been for decades. It is also the most resistant to loads, to fire and to deformation, the best insulating (much more effective in rupturing a cold bridge than other materials) and consumes less energy for its production. It is far and away the most environmentally friendly material used in the construction of buildings.

What products will you be presenting?

We will present the largest ever range subjected to FB5 class ballistics trials covering doors, partitions, windows and curtain walls. We will also present the Janisol1, a new section with a cold bridge rupture offering a half hour and one hour flame barrier (EW 30 & E 60 classification), which also complies with C+D requirements (preventing the external spread of flames from one floor to another). There will also be the Janisol C4, a fire break product holding EI30, EI90 and EI120 classifications, whose composition allows exceptional results to be achieved. We will be showing our new Art'System range of ultra fine sections, with new accessories that satisfy the requirements of our customers. Also on display will be the Viss Basic 80mm series that allows projects calling for large glazed areas to be carried out, making installation easier and giving architects more choice to create works with large dimensions. And to finish, a new line of metal fabrics intended for the whole range of architectural and decorative projects.

What is your aim in exhibiting at équipbaie?

As just mentioned, we are here to meet our customers, to present our new products, to discuss their expectations and to work with them on projects, as well as taking the opportunity to forge new contacts. équipbaie draws in metal fitters as well as architects and quantity surveyors, who can discover the wealth and variety of our range of steel frame products. We have the largest series of cold bridge rupture and fire resistant sections on the market, as well as the broadest range of sections for the creation of curtain and glazed walls…
