Stand Architectural Rules

By signing the application form you have undertaken to abide by and to ensure that all your decorators, installers or contractors abide by the clauses of the General Regulations of Reed Expositions France. The show organizer reserves the right to modify or have removed by the general installer any installations that do not abide by the show regulations and the stand architectural rules. All fittings must remain within the confines of your stand.

Stand designs and certificate to restore site in its original state
With the exception of équipbaie métalexpo fitted stands (Eco, Comfort or Luxury), every exhibitor undertakes to submit the designs for its stand including all the fittings to the organizer before 8th September 2010 for approval and also to return the Certificate undertaking to restore the site in its original state.

• MAXIMUM PERMITTED HEIGHT: 5 metres
Decoration and structure: 5 metres over the entire area without any set back from neighbouring stands or the aisles. This rule applies to all stands where he height of the hall permits it. Any stand whose decoration rises beyond the permitted 5 metres will be subject to an additional charge of 20% of the floor area of the stand.
• DIVIDING PARTITIONS
Partitions facing on to neighbouring stands must be clean, smooth, plain coloured or covered with wall fabric without any kind of signage.
• OPEN SIDES
Stands should have largely open sides. Any specific decoration must be designed so as to leave the aisles clear. The partitions, signs or other decorative structures must not in any event block more than 50% of the length of each open side.
• SIGNAGE
Signage facing on to a neighbouring stand must be set back by at least 1 metre in relation to dividing partitions above a height of 2.4 metres and must abide by the maximum height of 5 metres.
• LIGHTING GANTRIES
Slung and independent gantries above the structure of the stands are allowed. They must abide by a maximum height of 6.5 metres, with no set back from neighbouring stands and the aisles and be free from any signage (an awning is possible after checking the percentage coverage with our safety officer).

• SLINGS
Any work involving suspensions from the structure of halls may only be carried out by the technical staff of Viparis.
• FLOORING, PILLARS AND HALL WALLS
Any deterioration (sealing, holes, painting and marking…) is strictly forbidden. Your site must be restored in its initial state. Any drilling into the concrete tiles of the hall is formally forbidden.
• INSTALLATION OF THE STANDS AND PRESENTATION OF EQUIPMENT
The equipment being shown must not cause any nuisance or harm to neighbouring stands. No equipment may extend beyond the ground area of the stand. The operation of any noisy or resonant equipment is permitted for up to 15 minutes per hour provided it does not cause a nuisance to neighbouring stands (article 11 of the General Regulations).

STANDS WITH UPPER STOREY (consult us)
Additional 15% charge on the floor area of the stand. Exhibitors may design stands with an upper storey within the limit of the overall area laid down by the safety office.

NB: Stands with an upper storey situated on either side of safety aisles must be set back within the stand by 2.50 metres and abide by the maximum height of 5 metres (structure and sign) when the height of the hall permits it.
