Lorries and utility vehicles are not allowed to enter the halls
o Access
No card is required. There is free access to the build up and break down site. It is up to exhibitors to maintain a manager or security guard on the stand whilst the equipment remains there. It is your best guarantee against theft.

Your free copy will be issued to you on presentation of your exhibitor badge at the show Organizers’ Office from 13th November 2010 and throughout the show.
• Empty packaging, deposit of materials
Empty packaging must be removed without delay and stored by exhibitors or the carriers (see transport-handling-customs).
• Customs
équipbaie métalexpo is covered by an ordinary private bonded regime. The Exhibition Centre’s Customs Office is open from 9.00 a.m. to 12 noon and from 2.00 to 5.00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. On Saturdays, holidays and vacations, it is open by request made the day before by forwarding agents.
• Safety Committee
Fitting work must have been completed by the time the Safety Committee makes its inspection. Your stand manager must be present. The date and time will be specified in due course.
OPENING TO THE PUBLIC:

• Opening hours
o For exhibitors: 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.
o For visitors: 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., except for Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
• Exhibitor badges
Badges are essential for entry by exhibitors between the dates that the show is open to the public.
• Distribution of advertising material
It is strictly forbidden to distribute advertising literature and material beyond the limits of your stand.
• Events
Events or commercial activities of any kind are strictly forbidden beyond the limits of the stands.
Noisy or resonant equipment may be operated for up to 15 minutes per hour, provided this does not cause a nuisance to your neighbours (cf. article 11 of the General Regulations).
• Deliveries
Access for exhibitor deliveries: from 7.00 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. (see Viparis file).
During deliveries, parking in the Exhibition Centre is restricted to 1 hour. If vehicles stay longer than this they may be removed without notice, at the expense of their owners.
• Caterers
No caterer has been granted exclusive rights to operate at the Porte de Versailles. Consequently, exhibitors may either make use of a caterer based on site or may use caterers approved by the management of Viparis. All outside caterers are obliged to obtain specific approval by submitting a request to: Viparis Mr Uri SLUCKIN – Porte de Versailles – 75015 Paris tel +33 (0)1 72 72 11 61 – fax + 33(0)1 53 68 71 71. In the absence of such approval, they will not be allowed to enter the Centre.
• Surveillance of the stands
The Show Organizer’s Office is only responsible for overall monitoring and does not provide security guards for each individual stand. Exhibitors who wish to personally provide security for their stands at their own expense must inform the show’s technical department of this fact in writing with at least 24 hours advance notice and at the same time provide details of the chosen service provider. We recommend that you provide security for your property, particularly at night (see stand security form) and we would like to remind you that there is a significant risk of theft during the build up and break down periods and that you should be vigilant about your personal possessions (see stand security form).
• Accident or theft
All exhibitors taking part in the event automatically benefit from the Comprehensive Exhibition Insurance policy covering the goods being shown as well as the fittings of the stand against all material losses, deterioration or damage, including theft (see the conditions laid down in articles 17 to 20 of the General Regulations).
In the event of an incident, the exhibitor must submit a report to the Police Station (on penalty of losing entitlement to the insurance cover) and complete the form reporting the loss that will be issued to it by the Organizer’s Office, and must send the original of the report and the declaration of the loss to the insurer. BREAK DOWN PERIOD:
from 5.00 p.m. Friday 16th November to 9.00 p.m. Sunday 18st November
• Break down times

Break down of the stands will commence at 5.00 p.m. on 16th November and may continue through the night.
Entry to the Exhibition Centre for vehicles involved in break down will be permitted from 5.00 p.m. on 16th November 2010 (see access and movement in the Viparis dossier).

• Eco – Comfort – Luxury – Machine package stands
The store rooms on these stand and the hired furniture must be emptied of all their contents by 10.00 p.m. at the latest on the closing evening of the show in order to allow their break down by the staff of the installer.
• Cleaning
Your site must be returned in its initial state. Any rubbish (carpet, rubble, adhesives …) must be removed. Goods and installations that are not removed within the specified times will be disposed by us and the cost of this will then be invoiced to the exhibitor.
For the removal of waste, we recommend that you contact Exponet, the company responsible for cleaning the halls (see stand cleaning).
Any deterioration or damage found after the break down of your stand will be invoiced to you. The exhibitor shall also be liable for all of its service providers (see Certificate of undertaking to restore site in its original conditions).
