EQUIP'BAIE 2008 : more specialised

Every other year in Paris, EQUIP’BAIE is the international trade show exclusively dedicated to openings in buildings and their fittings: joinery, windows and doors, glazing, solar protection.

Serving one of the most innovative sectors in the construction industry and occupying the central position in moves to improve the energy efficiency, safety, security and comfort, it is the venue of choice where building professionals (developers, specifiers, contractors and distributors) meet product manufacturers. It is also the place where manufacturers come to see their machinery and component suppliers.

Objectives for a more specialised exhibition in 2008:

Keep pace with the challenges of today's market: sustainable development, energy management, safety, building renovation, etc.

  • Highlight the innovations presented by the exhibitors.

  • Publicise products’ performance and new functionalities.

  • Identify market trends and the technological challenges of the future.

There will be an Innovation Competition in addition to that of BATIMAT which will “thermal performance” as a theme, focusing on the advantages in renovation and ease of use of products.

Communicate more

On the visitor side, EQUIP’BAIE will be sending out more material to companies, retailers, project managers and contracting authorities.




VIP Visitors

A new approach to VIP visitors will aim to attract 5,000 new trade visitors.


New Professional Visitors

To this end, a special telephone line will be used to build a special relationship with VIPs, and partnerships will be formed with companies compiling databases of construction and renovation projects. Finally, a new-generation badge reader will enable exhibitors to identify visitors and their requirements more effectively.
